There had been predictions that Kristen Stewart would be up for Best Actress for her role as Diana inSpencer, and now that’s been made official with her nomination announced.

Many Marvel fans had been hopingSpider-Man: No Way Homewould be getting its due attention at the Oscars. The success of that movie cannot be denied, with universal praise from critics and fans alike in addition to immense box office profits. It did get a nomination for Best Visual Effects for what it’s worth. While it didn’t get put up for Best Picture, one of its stars is still up for a major award with Andrew Garfield up for Best Actor for his role inTick, Tick… Boom!.

The Oscars Will Bring Back a Host for 2022
The Oscars has gone three years without a host, seemingly because there always seemed to be backlash that came along no matter who was hired for the job. Craig Erwich, president of Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, announced last month that the Academy Awards would be bringing back a host in 2022. A name hasn’t yet been announced, though it’s worth noting thatTom Holland has publicly campaigned for the job.
