It doesn’t exactly feature Adam Sandler reprising his role as Robbie Hart alongside his true love Julia Sullivan, played by Drew Barrymore. Instead, it actually brings Lainey Lewis and Barry Goldberg intoThe Wedding Singeritself, cutting them into the climactic end of that fan-favorite comedy, and making them a true part ofThe Wedding Singercanon. In addition to Sandler and Barrymore, the teaser features Billy Idol and a brief glimpse at Jon Lovitz from the movie.

For the very special Halloween episode, he wrote a letter to Robert Englund and brought him out of retirement to portray Freddy Krueger on the small screen. Englund had told fans before the cameo that he was finished with theA Nightmare on Elm Streeticon, but Goldberg’s letter warmed his heart, which resulted in Englund delivering a valentine to horror fans.
