In theMarvel Comics, Joseph Manfredi was the son of a mafia leader, who was also a costumed villain known as Blackwing, who was once a Hydra division leader. He ended up abandoning his super-villain aspirations and became a mafia crime boss in New York. It isn’t known if the series will explore his comic book origins as Blackwing or not, so stay tuned.
