There is one huge burning question on the mind of every fan ofThe Walking Dead, heading into Season 7. Season 6 ended with a massive cliffhanger, with the iconic villainNegan(Jeffrey Dean Morgan) being introduced as he randomly killed one character, whose identity was not revealed. There were 11 characters that were lined up during that scene, and fans have been speculating left and right as to who may or may not have been killed. During an interview at Comic-Con,Jeffrey Dean Morganmay have revealed three characters Negan didn’t kill.

All throughout Comic-Con, IMDb brought on filmmakerKevin Smithto conduct interviews with several of the Con’s biggest stars on the IMDb Yacht, just outside of the convention center. SinceThe Walking Deadis easily one of the biggest shows in the world, it’s not surprising that he was tasked with interviewing starsAndrew Lincoln(Rick Grimes),Norman Reedus(Daryl Dixon),Steven Yeun(Glenn Rhee) andJeffrey Dean Morgan, and it’s less surprising that the talk turned to the Season 6 finale.Kevin Smithsuggested that everyone sitting on the panel at that time was “unkillable” in the seies, with maybe the exception ofJeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan character. When pressed to reveal who his character killed,Jeffrey Dean Morganhad this to say in this new interview, courtesy of YouTube.

“No one sitting here.”

Of course, it’s possible thatJeffrey Dean Morganwas being facetious and/or playing to the crowd, but he very well could be telling the truth as well. Naturally, most fans aren’t expecting Rick to die, given he’s the nucleus of this show, and Daryl has become so popular that his death would be quite the shock to fans around the world. Glenn, however, is Negan’sactual victimin the comic books, but this character already suffered a near-death experience in Season 6, when Nicholas (Michael Traynor) killed himself, pulling Glenn into a zombie horde. His fate was left unclear for three episodes, before we learned that he managed to get out alive.

You may also recall that there have been rumors Glenn is in fact Negan’s victim, sinceSteven Yeunhas recently teased on social media that he’s shooting the newBong-joon HofilmOkja, at the same time thatThe Walking Deadis in production. There have also been rumors that his on-screen wife Maggie (Lauren Cohan) has been absent from the set for quite some time, but we don’t have any confirmation that she was killed by Negan either. Another report claimed that the show filmeddeath scenesfor each of the 11 characters that were ambushed by Negan and his Saviors.

IfJeffrey Dean Morgan’s statement is true, and Negan didn’t kill Rick, Daryl, or Glenn, then that leaves eight possible victims, Rosita (Christian Serratos), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt). During Comic-Con, AMC showcased the first trailer, which revealed our first look at The Kingdom leaderKing Ezekiel(Khary Payton).
