Lara Croft is finally returning to the screen. The action heroine is ready to live a new adventure inTomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, a new animated series coming to Netflix soon.
Since the first video game released in 1996, Lara Croft has become a more than popular character not only in the world of gaming, but also in pop culture, and particularly in film and television. The franchise has expanded to different areas, and although fans may not be able to enjoy a new game in the near future, they will be able to experience new adventures of the archaeologist thanks to the streaming giant.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croftis just one of several projects focused on the character that is in development. After it was announced that the sequel to the 2018 film starring Alicia Vikander was canceled, MGM Amazon Studios revealed their intentions to reboot the saga with Phoebe Waller-Bridge writing the script for a live-action series, which will be connected to new films and even with future video games.

Hayley Atwell Is Perfect to Play Lara Croft
