The footage fromBullet Trainsounds like it set things up nicely, introducing a different sort of role for Hollywood leading man Brad Pitt and ending with Pitt in an exciting fistfight with Bad Bunny.
Based on the popular manga “Maria Beetle” by Kotaro Isaka,Bullet Trainfollows five assassins who find themselves on a Japanese bullet train. They slowly come to realize that their individual assignments are all interconnected. Of course, this realization comes amid a hail of bullets and other assorted action set pieces, all within a confined space. From the director ofJohn WickandDeadpool 2, David Leitch,Bullet Trainis looking more and more like a fun, delirious action-thriller that could very well be one of the year’s highlights.
As well as giving viewers a glimpse of Pitt and Bad Bunny, the footage also reportedly introduced both Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry’s roles inBullet Train. The pair have just rescued Logan Lerman’s character from a kidnapping, describing to him the sheer amount of people they had to kill in order to do so. It sounds like the dialogue zipped along at a wonderful pace, with the clip being met with cheers and laughter.

The action outing has amassed the kind of cast that only comes together once in a while, with Brad Pitt, whose character is named Ladybug, leading an ensemble that includes the likes of Joey King (The Kissing Booth) as Prince, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (The King’s Man, Tenet) as Tangerine, Brian Tyree Henry (Eternals) as Lemon, and Zazie Beetz (Joker) as Hornet, as well as Andrew Koji (Warrior), Masi Oka (Heroes), Michael Shannon (Knives Out), Logan Lerman (Hunters), and Sandra Bullock (The Lost City)as Maria Beetle. Additionally, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Bad Bunny, Pasha D. Lychnikoff, Miraj GrbiÄ round out the rest of the supporting cast.
Bullet Traindirector David Leitch has praised Brad Pitt’s central performance amongst the stellar ensemble cast, describing the actor as “like you’ve never seen him before.” It has been previously revealed that Pitt will perform 95% of the stunts himself, with the fight scenes being inspired by the master of martial arts and action-comedy, Jackie Chan. “[There’s] a little bit of physical comedy,“ Leitch explained. “The fights are designed to enhance the characters. We’re here to have fun in this super-contained space.”
