The film stars Mulaney (Saturday Night Live) as Chip, Samberg (Palm Springs) as Dale and KiKi Layne (If Beale Street Could Talk), Will Arnett (Arrested Development), Eric Bana (Dirty John), Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2), Dennis Haysbert (24), Keegan-Michael Key (Schmigadoon!), Tress MacNeille (The Simpsons), Tim Robinson (I Think You Should Leave), Seth Rogen (Pam and Tommy), J.K. WhileChip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangersisn’t obviously the first film tocombine both live-action and animationon the same screen, it certainly proves to be one of the best contenders to date. Lead stars Mulaney and Samberg were definitely the right choices to take on the roles of both Chip and Dale. Both voice actors did a phenomenal job carrying the legacy of these two Disney classic characters, while the rest of the cast made the film even more enjoyable. For fans that truly loved watching the originalRescue Rangersanimated series between 1989-1990,Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangersis certainly a must-see film as it serves as somewhat of a continuation since the animated show ended.

That was also part of it: I wanted to learn not just how animated movies are made, but how the kind of modern ones – likeDoctor Strange– are half-animated movies with animated characters and CG environments.
