Horror icon Bill Moseley will be taking on the title role ofCrepitusin the movie, which should give die-hard horror fans a reason to look forward to it. “From the very beginning Crepitus had me. An intrinsic fear I’ve always had was of clowns. So when Crepitus came along I had to be involved! From day one reading the script, the only actor I could see embodying Crep has been Bill. So when it happened, it was like mynightmarehad became reality and that made me smile.”
The teaser forCrepitusshowcases a lot of very unsettling and dark imagery packed into a short timeframe. Outside of getting a very brief but supercreepyglimpse ofCrepitusthe clown, the teaser also features some other very unsettling horror tropes, such as a very creepy kid speaking in a monotone voice with some ominous dialogue, as well as a dark hallway and some light bulbs that don’t seem to be working properly. “17-year-old Elizabeth and her younger brother, Julian, are thrust into circumstances more terrifying than life with their abusive, drunken mother when they are forced to move into their deceased grandfather’s house. Frightened beyond belief, they are forced to learn horrible things about their family history. Nevermind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in them - acannibalistic clownnamed Crepitus.”
