Ezra Miller’s Mishaps

Miller’s mishaps began back in 2011 when they played the role of Patrick in the film,The Perks of Being a Wall Flower. In the passenger seat of a car pulled over for a broken brake light, police found 20g of marijuana on Miller’s person and charged them with drug possession. As the judge later dropped the charge, Miller and the driver faced a two citation penalty for disorderly conduct at $600.

The following year in April, Miller was spotted in a bar in Iceland where they were seen in a now-deleted tweet chocking and wrestling a woman to the ground. Miller was never charged for this mishap but instead was thrown out of the bar by the staff.

In recent news, back in March 2022, police officers in Hawaii arrested Miller on the charge of disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar. After the arrest, Miller presented bail set at $500 and was soon released, only to have a restraining order filed against them by a couple. Staying in a hotel, the couple claimed that Miller not only made their way into their room but also threatened and stole from them.NBC Newsreported that the restraining order was only dropped the following month.

Fast-forward to April, a week after the restraining order had been dropped, and Miller was in trouble with the Hawaii police yet again. The Fantastic Beastsactor and friends made their way into a home where they indulged in the homeowners' liquor. After being asked to leave the property, Miller threw a chair at a female, thus landing on her forehead and leaving her with a half-inch cut. Arrested in the early morning on accounts of second-degree assault at the private property, lucky as always, Miller was released as investigations remain pending.

Everyone Up For Grant Gustin?

In April, a report fromRolling Stonestated that “an emergency meeting” was held to discuss Miller’s life on the screen under Warner Bros., the decision to halt all the actors' projects (including the upcoming movieThe Flash) was taken, due to their behavior. Of course, this left fans heartbroken and upset, and many began to wonder and decide who could be the best fit for the role to have production continue. After staring in the titular role in the hit CW showThe Flash, Gustin has recently caused media outlets quite the stir. After the show’s demise at The CW witha shortened ninth season, it only makes sense that fans feel that he would be the best cast for the role. As much as it may be true, some know that it would be too good to be… well, true. Stating how Warner Bros. aren’t fans of having television and movies combining, as it would not only be weird, fans are still interested in having Gustin replace Ezra Miller in the film.

Some believe Gustin has done more than enough for DC fans and ultimately left us full from his presence on the television show. Supporting him and his career as an actor, a few feel that as much as he loved his role in the television show, where he responded to its final season announcement in an emotional video, Gustin would like to expand his roles as an actor and is probably tired of playing the superhero.

In an interview withNew York Daily Newslast month, American film director Zack Snyder stated that he is not for Gustin replacing Miller. Saying “Grant Gustin would never manage to do what Miller’s Flash is capable of” shows that there are still some in Miller’s corner. But, backtracking to the beginning of it all, if it were not for Snyder, who came across Miller in the making ofBatman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Miller would not be known as The Flash.

Explaining how Gustin has a light and comedic undertone to The Flash on television, his portrayal of the DCEU Flash on film would not mesh as well due to the film only getting “darker and grittier." The topic of discussion for a full re-cast has come up as names have been dropped to take over the lead role, including Dylan O’Brien, Elliot Page, or even another Hemsworth brother! At this point, fans are fine with just about anyone who shows dedication, passion, and the actual “look” of The Flash.
