Miller Apologizes for Behavior During Mental Health Crisis, Hopes to Return to a ‘Safe and Productive Stage’
Unfortunately, the trespassing incident in Vermont was not an isolated one for the actor—Miller seemingly could not stay out of troublein 2022. With two arrests in Hawaii, choking accusations in Iceland, and allegedly grooming a young Native activist, Miller finally addressed their behavior in August, citing a mental health crisis.
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life,” the actor shared.
Though Miller’s public reputation has taken a hit from their past behavior, it doesn’t seem to have impacted them professionally: despite talks of replacing Miller as Barry Allen (better known asThe Flash), the actor is still slated to reprise their role for the speedy superhero’s first feature film, hitting theaters June 16.
