Someone has digitally inserted Nick Offerman’s face onto all of the characters in theFull Houseintro, and the result is utterly hilarious nightmare fuel. From DrFakenstein on YouTube, the video is simply calledFull House of Mustaches. As it sounds, Offerman’sParks and Recreationcharacter Ron Swanson has his face deepfaked onto each member of the Tanner clan along with uncles Joey and Jesse in the clip. The strange parody goes through the entirety of the opening sequence fromFull House, and it’s really just something that needs to be seen to be believed. You can take a look at it below.
There’s something so inherently unwholesome about DrFrakenstein’sFull House of Mustachesvideo. Needless to say, this is probably not how most people ever pictured the Tanner family. Still, the parody is perhaps not the most unsettlingFull Houseparody on YouTube. The channelFull House Without Michellereleased its own version of the TV show intro along with some clips which digitally removeMichelle Tannercompletely from the scenes. The videos suggest an insane Danny Tanner has a make-believe child and the other members of the family are placating him. Who knows where these ideas come from, but the series is clearly an easy target for pranksters on YouTube.
On a lighter note, the real characters ofFull House(well, most of them) will soon be getting back together for one more run of new episodes. Netflix previously ordered a fifth and final season of the revival seriesFuller House, which will premiere on the streaming service later this year. Set in the sameTanner householdfrom the original series, the spin-off follows grown-up versions of D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) now raising their own little ones. Of course, Danny (Bob Saget), Jesse (John Stamos), and Joey (Dave Coulier) all regularly make appearances as well.
As you’ve likely ascertained, “deepfaking” is when video editors digitally insert faces onto other people in convincing fashion. Recently, a deepfake video of Jim Carrey playing Jack Nicholson’s character Jack Torrance inThe Shiningwent viral. Another popular deepfake video imagined Sylvester Stallone as the Terminator inTerminator 2, which visually gave fans of the movie an interesting “What if?” scenario to think about. Sometimes, however, the results can be much eerier, as another video from DrFakenstein inserted internet darling Keanu Reeves' face into the PBS children’s showSesame Street. As breathtaking as theJohn Wickstar is, it’s beyond creepy to see his face on a small child singing a children’s song.
Just when you think you’ve seen everything there is to see on YouTube, something likeFull Housebut everyone isRon Swansoncomes along. Anyone who’s seen it will never be able to unsee it, so be prepared to picture Offerman’s face anytime you hear that trademark theme song moving forward. Who knows what’s going to come out next, but it will somehow be something even more bizarre. God bless the internet. This latest DeepFake comes from Dr. Fakenstein on YouTube.
