A week ago today, we reported the tragic news that beloved actor and sitcom starAlan Thickepassed away at the age of 69. On Sunday evening, the late actor was remembered by his family and friends at a memorial service at the Thicke family home in Carpinteria, California, which was attended by theGrowing Painsstars as they remembered their TV patriarch.
CNNreports thatGrowing PainsstarsKirk Cameron,Joanna Kerns,Tracey Gold,Jeremy MillerandLeonardo DiCapriowere among the 300 guests who came to pay tribute to the actor. The late actor’s daughter-in-law,Dolly Thickesent out a brief message on Facebook, thanking those who came out to honor her father-in-law. Here’s what she had to say in her statement below.
“Tonight’s memorial for Alan was just about perfect. So much family and so many historic friends came out to remember our beloved father-figure. Speaking for Alan so beautifully was (I’m realizing now) anall-star cast.”
