Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2is easily one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Prior to the firstGuardiansmovie back in 2014, even manyhardcore comic book fansweren’t familiar with the obscure Marvel Comics cosmic team, but now they are some of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios is well aware of that, and that is why they decided to air a brand new spot forGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2during the Super Bowl. Lucky for us, an extended version of that spot has now made its way online.
Marveluploaded the extended version of the Big Game spot to their YouTube channel, after first debuting a shorter version of it during the Super Bowl pre-game show. Even though the extended spot is less than a minute long, it packs a big punch. We get a ton of new footage, including some new action with Yondu, some newRocket and Baby Grootaction, as well as our first look atElizabeth Debickias the villain Ayesha. There is also another pretty excellent moment betweenDrax and Mantis, which is great since their interaction in the first full teaser was arguably the best moment in that trailer.
