ActressJennifer Lawrencetook to her officialFacebookpage earlier today to reveal the first official photo fromThe Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, arriving in theaters November 20. The photo features the actress as her bow-wielding character Katniss Everdeen, alongsideLiam Hemsworth’s Gale Hawthorne,Evan Ross' Messalla andSam Claflin’s Finnick Odair, all clad in battle gear. The caption underneathJennifer Lawrence’s photo also features a cryptic clue, which could hint that the first trailer is arriving in less than one week, on Tuesday, June 9.

Lionsgate released a brief teaser trailer back in March, which was attached to prints ofThe Divergent Series: Insurgent, but it didn’t include any actual footage, only a compilation of dialogue from the first three movies, along with an animated version of Katniss' mockingjay pin. Over the past few weeks, we have seen a number of posters fromThe Hunger Gamesfranchise finale, but today’s image offers our first real look at some of the main characters. It’s possible that the actress could release a new photo every day, leading up to the trailer, or whatever is released on June 9, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Panem is engaged in a full scale war, as Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) finally confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in what promises to be the ultimate showdown. Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) join Katniss as she sets off on a mission with the unit from District 13. They must all risk their lives to assassinate President Snow, stoping his reign of terror once and for all. The maniacal ruler has become increasingly obsessed with destroying Katniss himself. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will change her more than any arena she faced inThe Hunger Games.
