The movie’s plot revolves around a foul-mouthed stripper who annoys the FBI by becoming the best candidate for their fancy new agent program. The script was written by Heather Quinn, and it will be produced by Palmer, Peter Lawson, and Kate Churchill.
Keke Palmer burst onto the scene following her success in Nickelodeon series,True Jackson, Vp. She co-starred with Robbie Amell in this series, who is best known for playing Stephen Jameson on The CW’sThe Tomorrow Peopleand Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm on The CW’sThe Flash. The series aired from 2008 to 2011.

Three years after the series concluded, Keke Palmer hosted the American chat showJust Keke. The show debuted on BET on June 19, 2025. Palmer was the youngest chat show host in television history with this series. She was also the first African-American actress to play Cinderella on Broadway.

Whoopi Goldberg Wants Keke Palmer to Star in Sister Act 3
Whoopi Goldberg is expected to reprise her role inSister Act 3. She was on Comedy Central’sHell Of A Week With Charlamagne Tha God, where she talked about potential cast members.
“I’m going to ask for Keke Palmer to come in,” she said. “I want everybody to come in. I want Lizzo to come in. I want everybody. I want the girl with the chest, what’s her name?… Nicki Minaj! I want Nicki to come. I want everybody. I want as many people who want to have some fun, because I really, desperately need to have some fun.”
Sister Actwas released 30 years ago in 1992, followed bySister Act 2: Back In The Habitthe following year. They revolve around Deloris Van Cartier (Whoopi Goldberg), who enters the witness protection program after witnessing her mafia beau, Vince LaRocca (Harvey Keitel), commit murder. Deloris is assigned to the convent’s choir while disguised as a nun in a California monastery, which she soon transforms.
The sequel will be directed by Tim Federle, with Madhuri Shekar writing the script. Goldberg also co-produces with Tyler Perry and Tom Leonardis. The film will be available exclusively on Disney+.
