Marvel Studios bossKevin Feigehas confirmed some major details regarding the upcoming MCU reboot ofThe Fantastic Four. During a recent interview onThe Official Marvel Podcast, Feige revealed thatSPOILER ALERTFantastic Fourwill be a “period” piece set in the 1960s and hints that it will take place in an alternate universe from the main Earth-616. Check out what Feige had to say about the highly anticipated Marvel outing below…

Fantastic Four (2024)

The events ofThe Fantastic Fourtaking place in an alternate universecertainly makes sense and will allow Marvel to introduce established versions of the iconic characters without having to explain why they have been absent all this time. At present, it is unknown how or why The Fantastic Four end up in the main MCU, but it will no doubt have something to do with the arrival of the planet-devouring cosmic entity, Galactus.

Could we start off with a happy-go-lucky version of the foursome who fail to save their own universe and must travel to Earth-616 towarn of the threat of Galactus? We will have to wait until next year to find out…
