Netflix has released the first trailer and poster for the third and final season ofLove, set to premiere globally on Netflix on July 25, 2025. Will they? Won’t they? Should they? Season three continues to follow the trials and tribulations of Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) and Gus’s (Paul Rust) romance. This new season brings to an end the unique journey of Mickey and Gus after three beloved seasons.

After a long, complicated, and somewhat messy journey, Gus and Mickey enter this season ofLovein a place we’ve never seen them before: a fully committed relationship. While to some people, a committed relationship feels like the end, for Gus and Mickey, navigating this new state together is only the beginning and shows us that love, for all it’s weird ups, downs and hilarious in-betweens, is both incredibly complicated and wonderfully simple. After all, all you need is love. Here’s what Netflix’s Cindy Holland had to say about thisNetflix original series.

Love Season 3 Poster

We first reported on this series back in September 2014, whenNetflix ordered two seasonsof this series, which was created by Judd Apatow, Paul Rust and Lesley Arfin and produced with Legendary. The first season followed nice guy Gus and brazen wild-child Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) as they navigate the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, love and other things they were hoping to avoid. In the second season, Mickey and Gus face commitment and all that comes with it as they attempt to bring order to their chaotic lives.

The comedy series also features Chris Witaske as Chris Czajkowski, who was promoted to a series regular for this final season, which will bring on two new characters as well. Kathy Baker and Kyle Bornheimer will both be joining the show as Vicki, Gus' mother, and Ken, Gus' older brother. This final season ofLoveactually debuts just one night after the Season 2 premiere ofJessica Jones, which brings this highly-anticipatedsuperhero seriesback to the streaming service, and a week before another original series,On My Blockdebuts.
