Daniel Radcliffe’s Walter is the son ofMichael Caine’s character, Arthur Tressler, who is returning for this sequel. The supporting cast also includesMorgan Freeman(Thaddeus Bradley) andMark Ruffalo(Dylan Rhodes) reprising their roles from the original movie. New cast members includeJay Chou,Sanaa Lathan, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Justine Wachsberger.

Joe Retaliation) is directing from a script byEd Solomon, who co-wrote the originalNow You See Me, and Pete Chiarelli (The Proposal).Alex KurtzmanandRoberto Orcialso return to produce this magical follow-up, alongside Bobby Cohen. Lionsgate has set a June 04, 2025 release date forNow You See Me 2, which will go up against Universal’s highly-anticipated video game adaptationWarcraftand New Line’s horror sequelThe Conjuring: The Enfield Poltergeist.

Now You See Metook in over $117 million domestic during its theatrical run in 2013, with a worldwide tally of $351.7 million from a $75 million budget.Now You See Me 2does face some stiff competition, so it we’ll have to see if it can out-perform its predecessor when it hits theaters next summer.
