Fans have been waiting a decade for the next installment in the magical heist franchise,Now You See Me. With the film releasing in theaters this year, it seems the original announcement in 2015 forNow You See Me 3wasn’t a trick after all. The preview for the film gives a look at the Horsemen’s upcoming heist, which appears to be a little different from the past two films.This time, the magicians are given the task of stealing from one of the world’s largest crime groups.
In the trailer, Atlas reveals that a tarot card — likely given to him by the mysterious magic organization, The Eye — told him that he’ll need the help of Bosco, June, and Charlie. He needs their assistance because the other three members of the Four Horsemen are dead to him. Their plan is to steal the Heart Diamond, an extremely valuable jewel, from Veronika Vanderberg. Vanderberg and her crime family have been using diamonds as a way to help others launder their money. Atlas believes it’s time to cut the Vanderbergs' funds.
