Spoiler Warning: Only Murders in the Building Season 3 PremiereOnly Murders in the Buildinghad a double premiere last week. A new episode will come out every Tuesday following the new season’s murder. The insufferable actor, Ben (Paul Rudd), died at the Arconia. But, the trio of true crime podcasters has a lot on their plates. With personal and work-related problems, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) enter a new phase of their journey, and it leaves as many questions as the previous seasons.
The comedy mixedwith crime showis a hit and left fans eager to see their newest investigation and the beginning of a new podcast season. A lot happened in the first two episodes, and here’s a list of a few questions left for the rest of the season to answer.

10Will Ben’s Ghost Appear Again?
Mabel has talked with two ghosts on the show: Tim Kono (Julian Cihi) and Ben. Paul Rudd is a funny actor, and his character has an important meaning to Mabel as she connected with her mother, who was suffering from depression, over one of his shows. It could be a possibility that it was only a one-time thing, but it could also indicate that Ben could appear more often than just in flashbacks prior to his death.
9Will Loretta and Oliver Become a Couple?
There’s a lot of tension and chemistry between Loretta (Meryl Streep) and Oliver. It would be a first for the theater director, as he is the only one of the lead trio that hasn’t had a romantic storyline.
Loretta hints that because there won’t be a play, they wouldn’t have to abide by his rules of keeping everything professional, and Oliver appears to be pleased by the idea. But being a part-time true crime podcaster is not easy and may not leave too much room for romance once Loretta becomes a suspect.

8Will the Play Become a Musical?
Oliver’s play is at risk. Not only did his main actor die twice, but he read an awful review from a critic. This is his last chance to come back to Broadway and leave his past behind.
He has a dream with Mabel, Charles, and his son Will (Ryan Broussard), and has an eureka moment: he will turn his playinto a musical. If he is really going to have a chance to do that, given that the producers aren’t answering his calls and are probably shutting down the project, is a question left unanswered.

7Will Mabel Move Out?
Mabel lives in her aunt’s apartment in the Arconia. From the very first season, it was established that she wouldn’t live there for long, only until she could renovate the place. In Season 3, she has finished it, and now she needs to move out quickly because her aunt sold the apartment.
But if Mabel leaves the building, the whole dynamic on the show will change — and that may be a reason why she might get to stay somehow.

6Will Oliver Have Another Heart Attack?
After hearing a bad review from a critic about his play while at the funeral of his lead actor, Oliver has a heart attack. He was checked by a doctor and given a Holter monitor to keep track of his heartbeats' rhythm as well as medication.

He should rest and not get stressed, but if the other murders they solved are any indication, there’s a lot of stress and high emotions on the way. Leading to another question: will he be able to stay healthy and prevent another attack?
5Will Mabel Find Herself?
Mabel is having a hard time finding purpose in her life. She feels lost and distant from her closest friends: Charles and Oliver. How she will come to terms with her life and find something that she wants to pursue will probably be the main story arc for her this season, as it was given so much time during the first two episodes.
4Will Charles Be Honest with Oliver?
Charles was more relieved than sadabout the playending before it began. He would have to do eight performances a week and confided in his girlfriend, Joy (Andrea Martin), about his feelings. She was also pleased, as they would get to spend more time together. After everything Oliver did for the production, it appears he has no intention of giving up. Will Charles be honest and say he wants out?
3Why Does Loretta Hate Ben?
Ben isn’t a very likable person, and most of the people that worked with him didn’t seem to like him very much. However, Loretta appears to have an extra hatred for her fellow cast member.
Whatever happened between them during the pre-production of the play should be explored and explain her lack of enthusiasm when Ben appeared alive at the after-party. As, so far in the season, she appears to be the main suspect.
2Did Tobert Record Important Clues?
When Ben arrives late to the first table read of the play in the first episode, following him around is Tobert (Jesse Williams). Ben explains that he is also filming a documentary during the pre-production of the play.

Because Ben died, the documentary seems out of the question. However, and more importantly for our lead trio, what important information that might lead to solving the case did Tobert record?
1Who Killed Ben?
This isa whodunit kind of story, so of course, the biggest question of the season is who the killer is. In Season 3, that’s Ben’s murderer. The biggest twist of the first two episodes was when and how Ben died, as his supposed murder was shown in the Season 2 finale.
However, everything changed when he survived the first attempt but not the second. Almost everyone that worked with him is a suspect leaving a lot of room for twists and turns, something the show is quite fond of.
