Word is that season 3 ofThe Mandalorianhas started filming. While no official announcements have been made by Disney, a new report from theStar Warsinsider Bespin Bulletin claims that filming actually started last week with plans to shoot through late March. The report also notes that Pedro Pascal is not on location to shoot any scenes as Din Djarin, but that’s no surprise as he’s currently filming HBO’sThe Last of Usseries....

Netflix U.K. claims that they were given the altered version ofThe Notebookand mistakenly uploaded it. Viewers watching the classic romance movie in the U.K. were shocked to see that the ending had been edited, taking out the poetic death scene and instead flashing to birds flying over the lake. After realizing what had happened, viewers expressed their anger on social media, which even caught the attention of author Nicholas Sparks, who revealed that he preferred the original ending during a recent interview....

Warner Bros. has released a new poster forTomb Raider, featuringAlicia Vikanderas the iconic video game character Lara Croft. The poster is a decided improvement over thefirst Tomb Raider poster, which several fans called out on social media, due to a poor Photoshopping job on Alicia Vikander’s neck, which lead to several parody posters. This new one-sheet likely won’t have the same type of response, but it will be interesting to see how fans of the video game franchise react to this movie as a whole...

HBO Max has just released the official trailer forVelma, an all-new adult animated series reimagining the brainiest member of Mystery Inc., Velma Dinkley. The new trailer comes just ahead of the show’s arrival on streaming with its premiere scheduled for Jan. 12. Spanning two and a half minutes, the trailer lets viewers get to know the new Velma a bit better along with other reimagined members of Mystery Inc., sans a certain dog....

The new showSuperman and Loishas turned out to be an unexpected hit for the CW. While ostensibly a spinoff fromSupergirl, the fledgling series has established a separate space for itself with movie-level aesthetics and a family-oriented storyline. There’s already early Oscar buzz already surrounding Will Smith’s performance inKing Richard, a biopic following Richard Williams, the father and coach of tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams. Written by Zach Baylin and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, the movie was released in theaters and on HBO Max earlier this month.
