Following his sexual assault conviction in April, Bill Cosby has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison. Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill handed down the sentence, despite the fact that Cosby’s attorney, Joseph Green, argued that prison would put his client at risk, given his age and that he’s legally blind. Green also cited the fact that Cosby had no prior criminal record. Judge O’Neill ignored the plea and ordered Cosby serve time in prison....

Christopher Reeve’s performance asSupermanis still considered by many to be the quintessential live-action depiction of the iconic DC comics character. Paramount has released the official trailer forConfess, Fletch. Based on the novels by Gregory Mcdonald along with the originalFletchmovie starring Chevy Chase,Confess, FletchputsJon Hamm(Mad Men,Top Gun: Maverick) in the titular role. After several months of rumors, a newDaredevilseries is reported to be in development at Disney+.Varietyreports that the streamer will move forward with a newDaredevilshow with Matt Corman and Chris Ord attached to write and executive produce. The outlet notes that Marvel has not officially confirmed the series while reps for Corman and Ord declined to comment on the news. No details about the newDaredevilseries were specified in the report, but it seems most likely that it would feature some of the same characters fans met in the originalDaredevilthat ran for three seasons at Netflix....
