Christopher Nolan didn’t know how famous Harry Styles was when he was cast in the upcomingDunkirk. Styles, the 23-year old former member of the British boy band One Direction has recently gone solo and tried his hand at acting. Cold Pursuitis the Hollywood remake of the Norwegian crime thriller/black comedy,Kraftidioten. Both films are directed by Hans Petter Moland, who doesn’t lose a step in the English version. A father hellbent on revenge ends up igniting a war between two very different drug lords. The bloody violence, bizarre comic turns, and icy settings make for raucous entertainment. There are several out of left field scenes inCold Pursuitthat caught me totally off-guard....

Last month’s deadly accident on the set of the Western movieRusthas brought about a lot of opinions from people as to who may be at fault, and Alec Baldwin in particular has faced a lot of criticism. At this time, police are investigating to hopefully determine exactly what happened on that set. What’s been reported is that AD Dave Halls had given Baldwin a “cold gun,” meaning it was safe to use, which then discharged a live round soon after, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins....

The DCEU’s roster of villains was a massive-mixed bag. Most of them were incredibly forgettable, yet there were a few that stood out from the rest, that could potentially compete against the best MCU villains. Something we never thought we would say. The DCEU may not have done many things right, but when the failed cinematic universe produced a great villain, it made us forget about the awful villains that the DCEU produced....
