It can be difficult to develop a romantic life when you’re a superhero. There’s no time for dinner dates or walks in the park when battling intergalactic invaders or hopping between dimensions to stop a witch with reality-bending capabilities from utilizing the demonic Darkhold. Furthermore, falling for another person means inherently putting them at risk, as asuperhero’s enemycould use the threat of harming their loved ones to defeat them. When the universe is at stake, a hero choosing to focus their attention on a single person can feel selfish, especially if their relationship begins to take time away from their crime-fighting careers.
She-Hulk’sJennifer Walters' struggles in the romantic world began long before she ever developed a green, gamma-irradiated alter ego. She is an incredibly successful legal professional, and focusing on her career has left her with little leftover time to devote to dating. While she definitely has more than enough on her plate as it is, Walters seems to genuinely want a romantic connection. The show has already featured several instances of the character either out on dates or engaging in some lighthearted flirting, to varying levels of success.

One of the series' most recent episodes saw her literally go green with envy at the marriage of an unpleasant high school friend. Will Jennifer Walters find love, and if so, with who?
She-Hulk’s Trials and Tribulations in the Online Dating Scene
Online dating is a nightmare. Just ask thecast ofShe-Hulk. A variety of factors can serve to make swiping on the apps all the more unpleasant. Folks with a public presence can have a difficult time dating online. Women have to grapple with tasteless messages sent to them by misogynistic matches. Finally, the process of finding a partner only gets more difficult as you get older, a fact which is exacerbated by the youth-centric reality of dating apps. Jennifer Walters, a woman in her thirties who recently became famous, is subject to the very worst parts of modern courtship.

Jennifer Walters tries to make an online dating profile, but she is largely unsuccessful in meeting solid matches. However, when she decides to create a profile as She-Hulk, her match rate improves considerably. She winds up out on a date with a very handsome doctor, and the two of them wind up back at Jen’s apartment. However, the following morning, when the man sees Walters in her human form, he quickly leaves, clearly less attracted to Jen than he was to her hulking alter ego.
This ill-fated venture into online dating proves useful when Walters' nemesis, Titania, attempts to copyright the name “She-Hulk.” Jen is able to use her She-Hulk profile, along with testimony from some of the men she dated, to establish that she had used the name prior to Titania’s copyright claim, which ultimately wins her the lawsuit.

Jen Meets Josh at an Unpleasant Wedding Party
The most recent episode ofShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law, “Just Jen,” saw Jennifer Walters reluctantly attending the wedding of a woman she knew in high school. Despite most elements of the party being pretty dreadful,Jen has a lot of funboogying on the dance floor and runs into a charming man named Josh. The two seem to hit it off, though their interaction is ultimately cut short by She-Hulk and Titania’s brawl.

It seems likely that Josh will return in upcoming episodes of the series. However, this might not be in Walters' best interest. Recently, a mysteriouswebsite called Intelligenciabegan to leak secrets about superheroes, and it’s unclear who is behind the organization. The end of “Just Jen” saw scientists spying on Walters and featured a close-up shot of a massive hypodermic needle, which would be capable of piercing She-Hulk’s armor-like skin.
Aside from Titania, most of the villains in the series have remained somewhat shadowy. Josh seemed too good to be true, so it wouldn’t be that much of a shock if he wound up being a villain and he was flirting with Jen in order to lure her into a trap.
Tatiana Maslany has perfectly portrayed She-Hulk from the jump. The character is a powerful hero but never loses her unique sense of humor.Jennifer Walters doesn’t need a man; honestly, she seems more comfortable being alone than the vast majority of Marvel characters. Tony Stark would have died far before he got the opportunity to battle Thanos if it weren’t for Pepper Potts.
Nevertheless, things have been hard for this newest MCU series' titular hero, and it would be refreshing to see the character catch a break for once. Jen might not need a romantic partner, but she definitely deserves one.
