Whenever a movie as highly-anticipatedStar Wars: The Force Awakenscomes out, it’s rare to see any other studio try to open anything else against it. However,Star Wars: The Force Awakenswill have some competition on December 18 with the new comedySisters, starringTina FeyandAmy Poehler. Today,Fandangohas released a new poster forSisters, featuring the stars naked in a bathtub, following thetrailerthat debuted in July. OK, it isn’t full-frontal nudity, but we don’t often see these comediennes baring all.
Sistersis the new film fromPitch Perfectdirector Jason Moore. It follows two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates. It soon turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.

Tina Feygoes against type in this comedy, starring asJane Jones. Maybe she drinks a little too much, maybe she doesn’t party enough. But she’s always been the wild child, and she’s just what Amy Poehler’s Maura Ellis needs at this stage in her life. Maura is recently single, and it’s going to take an extra nudge to find that perfect man. And that perfect man happens to be right next door, played byIke Barinholtz. You may recall that, in the trailer two eventually hook up in one of the trailer’s craziest scenes. As they go to make out, the poor man falls right on a ballerina music box that goes somewhere it shouldn’t be. The two lovers struggle to free it as one crazy party rages on in the next room.
Sisters is Amy Poehler andTina Fey’s third movie together following their 2004 smash hitMean Girlsand the 2008 outingBaby Mama. They first worked together onSaturday Night Live, where they became Weekend Update co-anchors. And they often co-host theGolden Globes, and have appeared on various other TV series and cameoed in a few movies working side-by-side to become one of the greatest female comedy pairings in history. Sisters will allow each of the women to show a distinctively different side of themselves.

Tina Feyproduces the comedy alongside Jay Roach (Meet the Parents series) and John S. Lyons (Austin Powers in Goldmember), and Amy Poehler executive produces alongside Jeff Richmond and Brian Bell from a script by Paula Pell (TV’s Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock). The movie will be in theaters this Christmas. If you’re able to’t wait another six months to join this party, hurry up and invite yourself in.
