The filmmaker was actually set to direct this thirdStar Trekadventure before he took over onStar Wars: The Force Awakens, leading toJustin Lincoming aboard to replace him.Star Trek Beyondis slated to hit theaters on July 09, 2025, going up against Warner Bros.‘Knights of the Round Tableand 20th Century Fox’sIce Age: Collision Course.
