When the first trailer forStar Wars: The Force Awakensdebuted in November, many fans were upset that none of the originalStar Warscharacters such as Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) or Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) were showcased. It has long been believed that these iconic characters will not be the central focus of directorJ.J. Abrams' sequel, which will instead focus on a new generation of heroes such as Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac). Today,Making Star Warshas a new report that reveals a major scene was shot at Pinewood Studios involving the fate of a fan-favorite character, according to their sources. There will beMASSIVE SPOILERSthroughout the rest of this story, so read on at your own risk.

The site’s source reveals details of a scene that was shot at Pinewood Studios in London, and they reportedly have documents of some nature to back up this assertion that the scene described below was actually filmed. Here’s a description of the key moment in question, which does reveals the shocking death of a beloved character.

Star Wars

The site goes on to speculate that our first glimpse of Kylo Ren in the November teaser was a scene that came directly after this villain killed Han Solo. There were also rumors that Luke Skywalker was involved in this scene, but the site claims, “there is no evidence at this time to corroborate that story.” Even if this rumor is true, we do not known when exactly this scene takes place within the film itself.

Making Star Warshas yet another story that sheds new light on Kylo Ren, who many believe is being played byAdam Driver. There are theories that Kylo is either Han Solo’s son, or the son of a man killed by Solo himself, which would explain why the villain killed Han in the previously mentioned scene. Neither scenario was confirmed, but the site does state that Kylo Ren does have “a vendetta” against Han. The site describes a scene where the villain is undergoing some sort of a task, when he hears that Han Solo is nearby, causing him to stop what he’s doing to “hunt him down.” There is speculation that this vendetta against Solo doesn’t have anything to do with him helping to erradicate the Sith, but that his hatred for Solo is personal. There is also speculation that Ren’s vendetta has something to do with classic characters, and that he is the only one who has a connection to Han’s past.

Force Awakens

There is also much speculation aboutDomhnall Gleeson’s character, who has been rumored to be Luke Skywalker’s son, but the site believes “it seems less likely that is the case unless there is some trickery involved.“Domhnall Gleeson’s character is known as “The General,” who is going to fire a large super weapon. There is a scene where all of his technicians flee, leaving The General to fire the weapon himself. Because of this scene, the site believes thatDomhnall Gleesonisn’t playing the son of Skywalker, since he can’t likely be redeemed after such a deplorable act.

The site also adds that Rey likely isn’t the daughter of either Luke Skywalker or Han Solo. They describe a scene where Rey and Finn come across the Millennium Falcon, which she calls “a hunk of junk,” implying that she has never seen of or heard of it before. There is also a scene where Rey impresses Han by quickly fixing the Falcon by using her intuition. Of course, as with allStar Wars: The Force Awakensrumors, nothing has been confirmed by LucasFilm or Disney quite yet, so we’ll have to wait and see if these details are true or not.
