The secondStar Wars: The Force AwakensTV spot has arrived, and as suspected, it contains no new footage. Instead, we get a few quick shots from the third and final trailer that debuted last month. But it does have us asking one important question. Who or what isHan Solo, Chewbacca and Finn staring at in the distance shortly after they’ve been captured by the First Order?
We’re not likely to seeMark HamillasLuke Skywalkeruntil the film is actually in theaters. But is this scene coming moments before his reveal? Our heroes are captured. And something has them in complete awe. Really, it could be anything. Including Rey. She was traveling with this rogue pack of Resistance fighters, yet she’s nowhere to be seen here. If we piece this together with other footage we’ve seen, this could be Rey saving her trio of friends from this forest planet, moments before the Millennium Falcon blasts off through trees, as seen in the first TV spot released this past Sunday.

This latest bit of footage also gives us a look at Rey and BB-8 as they travel across the desolate sands of Jakku. And we get another glimpse at Kylo Ren standing with the Knights of Ren. Who are these other characters he’s surrounded by? And what’s that in his right hand? Did he finally get the lightsaber he was after? Is this moments after he’s killed a very key player in this space opera? These are all mysteries we’ll learn the answer to onDecember 18.
