There certainly are big expectations placed onTed Lasso. Despite being a breakout comedy series in 2020,the sophomore season faced more criticism. Season 3 was a widely divisive season, with the series finale being criticized for rushing storylines. Many audience members began to grow tired ofTed Lassofor the very things they initially loved about it. Season 4 will need to win over fans who grew tired or disappointed with the final season. However, that seems like a veryTed Lasso-like situation, and if the original series proved anything, that kindness can go a long way to winning people over.
