Production for the fifth and final season of Prime Video’s superhero satire seriesThe Boysis well under way.Fans get new hints every day from photos posted by cast membersand even showrunner Eric Kripke. The latest sneak peek features a revealing look at the upcoming season, which continues the show’s commitment to holding a funhouse mirror up to U.S. politics witha set for a “Freedom Camp,” built to resemble Nazi concentration camps.
The leaked photos from the set, shared by userSonyaon X, showcase a deceptively colorful fenced-in compound with a sign above its entrance denoting it as “Vernon Corporation Services Freedom Camp 47,” made to mimic a Nazi concentration camp – or its modern-day analog, the deportation facility.

The creators of theR-rated satire of our superhero and capitalist-obsessed worldare done with subtlety when it comes to the ongoing theme of likening its antagonists to the Nazis. In big red letters, the message “Freedom sets you free” towers above the entrance to the camp, calling back to the Nazi phrase “Work sets you free.“This set reveals major hints as to how far the villainous superheros, most likely aligned with Homelander, are going with their fascist regime in the final season.
A giant picture of Sister Sage, a recent addition to The Seven, is plastered on the side of a building right behind the entrance, adding to the absurdity of the facility’s theme park aesthetic. This confirms Vought’s hand in the camps, which we can only assume there are more of due to the “47” designation in its name. Knowing how Season 4 left off, fans are in for a scarier, more powerful villainous force as the story ofThe Boyscomes to a close.Check out the leaked photos below.

How Far Will ‘The Boys’ Take This Nazi Metaphor?
The superhero series has already had one Nazi character in the form of previous Seven member Stormfront (Aya Cash), who was revealed to be a Nazi who survived World War II. After gaining Homelander’s favor for her radical beliefs, Stormfront decides to end her life once she finally realizes that her plan of creating a master race is impossible. So, if the literal Nazi gave up on the ethnic cleansing goal, then what does that make the red, white, and blue hero who is taking over the U.S. government?
Stormfront’s storyline emphasizes that Homelander and his regime are even more diabolical and determined than the Nazis, which is terrifying to say the least. Season 4 ended with the prospect of the leader of The Seven gaining even more power by taking control of the U.S. government, instituting martial law, and deputizing Supes – only those in his favor, of course. The continuing theme of authoritarianism, fascism, and propaganda will most definitely play a huge role in Season 5, which couldn’t be more timely for audiences everywhere.
The Boys - Season 4
In season four of The Boys, Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the control of Homelander. With only months to live, Billy Butcher must find a way to work with The Boys if they want to save the world.
