Marvel Studios unveiled a short teaser for the launch ofThe Fantastic Four: First Stepstrailer, with the caption, “The Future Foundation invites you to take your first steps into a fantastic new era.” The brief snippet reveals the very first bit of footage from the upcoming film, which features a group of excited children gathering around a TV screen revealing The Fantastic Four superhero team. The family of scientists is seemingly prepping for a rocket launch, and they seem to be the center of this retro-futuristic alternate universe. A slew of leaks from the movie’s production has given fans a good look at several key characters and locations. However, the upcoming trailer will potentially reveal the main villains, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner), Mole Man, and Galactus (Ralph Ineson).

This makes sense as the main villain of those two sequels,Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, will reportedly make an appearance inFirst Steps.

“Finally, [we’re] bringing Marvel’s First Family into the MCU. They wrap next week, the movie comes out next summer, and then all those characters go right into the next Avengers movies, so I’m very excited for the future of the Fantastic Four.”
