Vanna Whitedidn’t need to buy a single vowel to ink her new deal. The co-host of the immensely popular television game showWheel of Fortunewas already locked in for season 41, and her new two-year contract will now cement the celebrity’s tenure through 2026. Although the salary of her new contract wasn’t disclosed, White already made just north of $10,400 per episode. And the game show co-host’s workload comes in at 288 shows being shot every 48 days (perParade). That means White already enjoyed a $3 million salary before the undisclosed pay increase.
White also signed a deal to return forCelebrity Wheel of Fortuneback in June. The domino tiles are finally fitting back together after Pat Sajak sent them all tumbling when he announced that season 41 would be the game show host’s swan song onWheel of Fortune. Sajak made the announcement on his officialX, formerly Twitteraccount:

“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)”
White responded to her co-host’s retirement onX:
“When we started @WheelofFortune who could have imagined we’d still be at it 41 seasons later? I couldn’t be happier to have shared the stage with you for all these years with one more to come. Cheers to you, @patsajak!”

Ryan Seacrest Joins Wheel of Fortune
Following Pat Sajak’s retirement announcement, Vanna White will find herself workingwith a new co-host, Ryan Seacrestbeginning in 2024. Seacrest has been nominated multiple times (2003-2013, 2016) for the prestigious Emmy thanks to his work onAmerican Idol. But the only time he’s actually won the coveted award was for his work as an executive producer onJamie Oliver’s Food Revolution(2012). Seacrest reacted to taking over for Sajak onWheel of Fortunein an interview withPeople:
“I think I have so much adrenaline rushing through my body. Excitement is the word because it’s such a phenomenal show. I’ve been a fan. I grew up watching the show. And I can’t wait to take over after the legendary Pat Sajak.”
Seacrest added in the same interview:
“I’m a kid in a candy store.”
Sajak’s final go-round withWheel of Fortuneis now airing on ABC. AndCelebrity Wheel of Fortune’sbrand-new season premieres on Wednesday, September 27 with contestants Joe Buck, Melissa Villaseñor and Brendan Hunt vying for that $1-million prize for their favorite charity.
