Fans have wondered for a long time why he hadn’t been recognized, along with Carrie Fisher, who had a makeshift star created after her death in late 2016. by fans. Harrison Ford received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2003.
Mark Hamill will receive the 2,630th star on theHollywood Walk of Fameon March 8th in a ceremony in front of the El Capitan theater.Star Warscreator George Lucas will attend the ceremony along with co-star Harrison Ford. The two will help host the ceremony along with Leron Gubler, president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies had this to say.
“Star Warsfans will be over the moon that hearing their idol Mark Hamill is going to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We are proud to add this extraordinary actor on our historic Walk of Fame.”
