Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 Now in the Works, Will Have Bigger Budget

A third movie in the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey franchise is now officially in development and will introduce more beloved characters.

WhileThe Twisted Childhood Universehas certainly not been without its detractors – many of whom are crying foul over Jagged Edge Productions taking our childhood icons and bathing them in blood – it’s clear that there’s a market for these offbeat movies that have managed to strike a chord with many, if for nothing more than showcasing what can be done on a microbudget. There’s since been a wave of imitators hoping to capitalize on their success, includingThe Mouse Trap, which also hits Peacock on October 1, and reimagines Disney’s Steamboat Willie as a deranged serial killer. Love them or hate them, as long as they keep making millions of dollars, these guilty pleasures won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
