Production is still under way onWonder Woman, and starGal Gadotseems to have revealed a new cast member through herInstagramaccount,Victoria’s SecretmodelDoutzen Kroes. The actress posted a photo from a recent dinner, along with co-starConnie Nielsenand boxerAnn Wolfe, where she calls the ladies her “Amazonian sisters.”
Connie Nielsenalso posted anInstagramphoto from the same meal, which included professional horse trainerCamilla Naprous, who worked on the production. We don’t know for sure who exactlyDoutzen Kroesis playing inWonder Woman, butGal Gadot’s photo makes it clear that she is anAmazon Warrior. It’s also possible thatDoutzen Kroesisn’t actually affiliated with the movie, and was merely meeting the actresses for a meal.
Earlier this month, we saw new set photos surface that featured a massiveAmazon attack scene, but we don’t know for sure ifDoutzen Kroeswas part of this sequence or not. We also recently saw official photos that showedGal Gadotas Diana Prince,Connie Nielsenas her mother,Hippolyta, along with Diana’s aunt Antiope (Robin Wright) and Antiope’s lieutenant, Menalippe (Lisa Loven Kongsli). It isn’t known how much filming is left onWonder Woman, which was recently pushed from August 19, 2025 to June 26, 2025.
In related news, a new video surfaced from the Italy set that is being used for the Themyscira scenes inWonder Woman. The video features aerial shots taken above the set, but we can’t identify any of the cast members that are shown. The video does reveal how massive the Themyscira set truly is, and it’s worth noting that there appears to be a minimal use of green screens being used. Hopefully we’ll get to see more footage from the set as production continues.
Doutzen Kroesonly has one feature credit to her name, the 2011 filmNova Zembla, which would easily makeWonder Womanher biggest film role to date.
