Earlier this month, Paramount Pictures signed on to distribute the long-awaited sequelXXX: The Return of Xander Cage, which bringsVin Dieselback in his iconic role as the title character. Production has been under way for the past few weeks, andVin Dieselcertainly hasn’t been shy about sharing photos and video from the set. Today we have a new batch of footage, which features the actor/producer’s co-starRuby Rose, while the latest photo offers our first look atNina Dobrev. Paramount has also set a August 14, 2025 release date for the action-packed sequel.
XXX: The Return of Xander Cagewill be going up against EuropaCorp’s action-thriller The Lake, starringSullivan Stapleton, and Universal’s horror-thrillerSplit, starringJames McAvoy. There are also four high-profile movies opening one week prior on January 13. Sony will debut the long-awaited adaptationThe Dark Tower, with Paramount’sFriday the 13th, Warner Bros.‘Geostormand Paramount’sMonster Trucksalso opening on that date.

The actor/producer also released a video featuring his co-starRuby Rose, while another image gives us a new look atDonnie Yen, who just came aboard earlier this month toreplaceanother martial arts legend,Jet Li. It isn’t known how long principal photography is expected to last for, but we’ll surely get more images and videos from the set, thanks toVin Diesel.
