Zac Efronwas taken to hospital as a “precautionary” measure. According toTMZ, the actor was discovered by workers in the pool of an Ibiza villa on Friday night.
Few details were revealed about the incident itself, but according to Efron’s representative, the actor’s hospitalization came as a result of what they called “a minor swimming incident.” When pressed for further details, the rep did not offer a response other than to reiterate that theA Family Affairstar was taken to hospital as just a precaution.
Yesterday, Efron shared an update on hisInstagram account, posting an image of himself working out in the sun and confirming that he is fine and back to doing his regular routine. In his post he simply said:

Efron is set to jump into another genre for his next movie, reuniting with A24 forFamous, which will be directed by Jody Hill and based on the novel by Blake Crouch. The movie will see Efron putting in double time to play both lead roles. The synopsis of the movie reads:
“Lance Dunkquist has the face of a movie star. Not just any movie star - Lance has been mistaken for Hollywood star James Jansen 228 times. And now Lance is about to go to LA to make his dream come true. No matter what it takes.”
This will be Efron’s second collaboration with A24 following the success ofThe Iron Claw, and both parties will be hoping that it will gain the same kind of reaction when it is released sometime in 2025.
